I love the confidence I have gained over the years. I love being myself and being a role model for other women to build their self-confidence. Being over 40 is amazing because I have past experiences that have helped me grow. I know that I don’t have to look to others for approval and that having healthy boundaries with people is important. I let my “no” be “no” and my “yes” be “yes” so that I don’t half-ass a bunch of stuff and can give my all to the things I’m passionate about in life.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by letting my natural hair grow long and beautiful, eating whole foods, cooking things from scratch, and caring for my skin everyday. I wear suits, hose, heels, and make up, but I also drive a manual transmission Dodge Challenger Hellcat and love to fish. I’ve never injected anything into my face and never will because it just looks too weird to me. I’m fine with aging gracefully just like my mom has.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate $10,000 to my church, $10,000 to The Mosaic Center, a local non-profit with programs benefiting a community of people on the Spectrum. The other $20,000 I would use to take my family on a cruise around Japan and other parts of Asia.
