I am 57. I feel as though age is truly just a number. I love being confident in my own skin and embracing myself with my imperfections and the mistakes I’ve made. I am grateful for every day!! I feel more alive now than in my 20s because I’m not afraid of any challenge due to the storms I’ve been through. My mantra is Carpe Diem!! I want my confidence and zest for life to shine through and be an example to all young women out there. I am a pediatric nurse and have had a very rewarding career. 💗
How do you stay fabulous?First thing I did was focus on loving myself. Through therapy and self help books, I have worked on healing any past traumas. Always trying to have a positive outlook, I walk about 5 miles a day and include lightweights and yoga daily. I eat a very healthy/clean diet and drink very little alcohol. I’m volunteer at Rady Children’s Hospital. Giving back brings me such joy. I also love to dance, walk on the beach and spend time with my children to raise my spirit and radiate my inner glow.🌟
What would you do with the $40,000?I am so honored to be on this platform to help support breast cancer research. I have friends and family who have battled the disease. I would like to donate back to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and also donate a portion to a nonprofit that helps women survivors of domestic violence and their children. 🥰 I hope to use this platform as a voice for domestic violence survivors to bring awareness and support.
