I love how my perspective has changed over time. I’ve learned to let go of a lot. Instead of holding on to things that don’t serve or support me. Aging brings on a sharper sense of reality and time. Learning to live life more meaningfully; acting on what really matters, and trusting your instincts.
How do you stay fabulous?What is fabulous? a) resembling or suggesting a fable, of an incredible, astonishing, or exaggerated nature. b) wonderful, marvelous I think much of my “fabulousness” comes from being on OG (original gangster) in the aerial arts world. I’m still working in it, and challenging myself to harder skillsets- like starting Aerial Straps at 66! Which I guess could be astonishing to some! I stay fit, love my downtime, nurture my friendships, and take nothing for granted!
What would you do with the $40,000?It’s difficult to find funding for the arts these days. I’d love to create an ensemble work with my circus peers and present/ produce it. And explore ways to celebrate my incredible community and give back after the years of support they’ve given me.
