I’m 42, a stroke survivor, and grateful for every moment. Life's challenges have only deepened my appreciation for each new day.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ferris Monge in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I just know who I am as a person and I don't apologize for it. I don’t worry what others think of me and I try to encourage the women around me to do the same. I’m all about empowerment, but in a non-cheesy way. I want others to succeed, that’s my whole purpose in life.
How do you stay fabulous?I do a lot of personal enhancement from spiritual to mental to physical. I’m mid post-stroke recovery & therapy so a lot of rest and reflection is in my daily activity. And spending time with friends and family. I try to surround myself with positive people and instill positivity into others. We’re all struggling with something and I want to help everyone in any way I can. I just love seeing people win at life!
What would you do with the $40,000?Honestly it’ll go towards my hospital bills, therapy and medications for recovery. Having to stay in ICU for almost a month with 4 brain surgeries is not cheap 😦
