What i love about being over is that life's lessons have molded me into the person I am today. Being over 40, I can share my experiences with the younger population. I loved the fact that I have raised my children to become productive adults. I love that I am okay with doing things solo. I love the skin that I am in.
How do you stay fabulous?Being a breast cancer survivor. I've learned to take a different approach on life. I am eating healthy and I work out when time permits. I also learned how to deal with stress by accepting the things I cannot change. I'm also learning self-care. To take time for me when necessary.
What would you do with the $40,000?Working with the urban underprivileged community can be emotionally taxing, but it is also very rewarding. I would like to start a non-profit organization. I want to work with homeless families and children under the age of 5 whose life has been affected by drugs. Opening up a safe haven for this population.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
