At this age, I embrace my wisdom, confidence, and passion for life. I chose to pursue my dream and became a beauty queen and model after 40.

What I love about being over 40 is the understanding that prioritizing my needs is important and doesn’t have to come with guilt. I have also rediscovered my passion for travel as my family life has become more stable during this decade. My professional career has progressed to new heights and my experiences in the Army, including a recent deployment to the Middle East, show that we can continue to be strong and resilient after 40, capable of achieving our goals with even greater strength.
How do you stay fabulous?Embracing a healthy and active lifestyle has been key to staying fabulous. I enjoy surrounding myself with friends who have positive attitudes and inspiring goals. I listen to positive affirmations and connect with inspirational guests for my podcast Operation Glow Up. I also have a skincare routine, practice walking in heels at home for my upcoming international pageant, spend quality time with my teenage daughters, and occasionally hike very tall mountains.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would allocate a portion of the $40,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation as my mother and two of her sisters are survivors of this very disease that affects so many women. In addition, I would use part of the remaining funds to help launch a business I’ve been developing, which aims to support other entrepreneurs. Last but not least I would love to travel to a dream destination! I would visit beautiful Thailand and explore its wonderful beaches and other sites.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
