I love being over 40 because I’ve grown into my true self. I’ve gained wisdom, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for life’s blessings. My experiences have shaped me, allowing me to balance being a single mom, running a nonprofit, and working full-time. I prioritize my family, faith, and passions like music and helping others. I embrace challenges with grace and joy, knowing they make me stronger. At 40, I’ve learned to live with purpose, gratitude, and a commitment to making a difference.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fit by balancing physical and mental well-being. I do EMS training, which strengthens my muscles, and Zumba, which keeps me active and energized. I focus on eating healthy, nourishing foods that fuel my body. Just as important is taking care of my mental health—I practice mindfulness, enjoy time in nature, and prioritize self-care. This holistic approach helps me stay strong, both physically and mentally, allowing me to live a balanced and healthy life.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I received $40,000, I would invest it into my nonprofit, Baskets of Love, which provides care packages for families with children battling cancer. This funding would allow us to expand our reach, provide more baskets filled with items to comfort each family member, and help ease the emotional and financial burden of their journey. My goal is to bring hope and support to even more families during their most challenging times.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
