Independence! Divorced over 7 years ago, I began a journey figuring out who I am in this world. I guess I always knew, but I prioritized my marriage over myself for 15 years. I discovered that it's important to love yourself and enjoy the world that's really not all that scary. I have been through many tragedic experiences and have come out alive and well. It's my prerogative now to experience life the way that I choose. I'm free to create new experiences and I love it!
How do you stay fabulous?My hard work and dedicated effort has paid off. I'm financially comfortable enough to provide a nice home and cars for my family. When something breaks, I research and fix it myself, from a frozen pipe to building a split-level deck. Learning a new skill makes me feel accomplished and valuable. I enjoy snow skiing in the winter and beaches in the summer. From girls trips to family vacations, I fill my life with love, friendship, and adventure.
What would you do with the $40,000?One of my recent adventures (that I plan to repeat) has sparked my interest in purchasing an RV. I took my 22 yo autistic son to the Texas Renaissance Festival. It was great, but tent camping is rough! I was prepared, and it was an experience that I'll remember fondly. However, the little portable potty (with disposable bags) and that little 120 degrees privacy tent (that's not really that private), well, let's just say, I would be totally fine never doing that again!
