I love that I’m finally able to live life on my own terms & no longer feel beholden to a boss who isn’t being honest. Thankful to have confidence in who I am, what my values are & to not be afraid to respect myself. It’s refreshing to know that I can live the life of my choosing at this age. It felt like a right of passage when I reached my forties and realized I no longer needed to focus on what’s pleasing to others, I needed to pay attention to what feels right for me.

I’m a perpetual student when it comes to understanding how to take care of myself and those around me, so we can thrive and not just survive. I stay fabulous by being conscious of what I eat, I enjoy staying active and taking care of my emotional state. Health truly is wealth.

I would have a moment of gratitude and then immediately pay our home insurance deductible for the new roof we need now post hurricane Helene and then pay off my student loan debt so I can be debt free. This would be such a weight lifted off and allow for me to invest the rest of the $40,000 into my family’s wellbeing, including improving our home, finally creating a family nest egg and feeling the security & gratitude for a new chapter of life!
