Connect What do you love about being over 40?

I love the experience of self-acceptance that comes with 48. I embraced my grey hair almost a decade ago. I love the wisdom that comes with being over 40. I am in medically induced menopause and feel so curious and empowered by the changes in my body. I welcome a journey to get to know the wise woman within me. As a small business owner, this is an exciting time in my business and career!

How do you stay fabulous?

I stay fabulous by committing to a balanced schedule. Mind, body and soul. I relish in being present with the gift of the moment. As a death doula, I find that death gifts me the appreciation of this one life I get to live as me. I spend time daily with gratitude, quiet time, hugs, puppy snuggles, and mountain sunsets.

What would you do with the $40,000?

I would invest in my small business, my community and myself. I would pay my assistant to keep helping me run my small business through 2025. Offer contract work the graduates from my Death Doula & Self-Awareness program that I lead as they work with clients for end-of-life planning, vigil, and grief support. Invest in a website, app, staff that helps women across the nation find pelvic health and menopause support + the same platform outreach for national end of life resources.
