Almost 42, I’ve learned to embrace my authentic self. I am learning new skills, chasing goals, and living my best life on my own terms.

Being over 40 has given me the freedom to embrace not knowing everything. I’ve realized it’s okay not to have all the answers, and that has actually helped me feel more confident. The imposter syndrome I used to feel in the workplace is gone, and I’m comfortable in situations that once felt intimidating. I’ve found a sense of balance in life and focus on what truly makes me happy—whether it’s traveling, learning something new, or spending time with the people who matter most.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by focusing on both my physical and mental well-being. I walk over 10,000 steps daily, exercise regularly, and take long walks with my dog. I eat healthy but love to indulge in great food because balance is important to me. I stay creative by trying new hobbies like needle felting and digital painting. I enjoy learning, traveling, and always make time for the people I care about, whether it’s a busy day or one to relax.
What would you do with the $40,000?I’d use the $40,000 to support my entrepreneurial goals and further develop my skills through workshops and classes. I’m passionate about event planning and dream of owning a venue for weddings or special events, but I’m also open to exploring other ventures where I can combine creativity, business, and marketing. This funding would help me bring my vision to life, no matter what direction it takes.
