What I truly love about being over 40 is not looking like it, of course as well as the mature mindset that sets in. You get to know yourself and love who you truly are after life's battles and the achievements that may seem small to some, but makes you a hero to those that surround you. Life is not finished at this point, but is then optimistically lived, realizing the things that you have missed out on and are now determined to achieve!

I stay fabulous by being who God created me to be...me and staying true to self! I try to live a more healthy and balanced life, while staying young at heart and in spirit. I love to feel good, look good, and stay active. I have found that although we face battles in life, the prize is to not look like what I have been through, embracing the lessons and learning from them, and encouraging others who face the same battles. I never try to be other than who I am. You have to set standards for you.

In winning the $40,000 prize, I would first give to someone less fortunate, invest in the education of my granddaughters, bless my children, and put a down payment on a house, and invest in my God-given business ideas that will help to save lives more efficiently, using some of my winnings to create prototypes. The goal is to give back, enhancing the life of someone in need, as well as my granddaughters, children, and myself.
