What do I love about being over 40? I’ve embraced my power—no longer apologizing for the space I take up, whether launching a new career or leading the Junior League of Baton Rouge. There’s a freedom that comes with age, knowing exactly who I am and having the courage to go after what I want. Most of all, it’s about lifting others up, helping them shine, and finding joy in the journey.

How do you stay fabulous?

I stay fabulous by embracing every challenge with humor and gratitude while juggling a full-time job and active volunteer commitments, all while serving as the chief cuddler and joke teller for Team LeBeau! The chaos of life keeps me on my toes, and I thrive in the busyness. I prioritize personal growth, learning from every role I take on, and surround myself with supportive people who inspire me. It’s not always pretty, but it’s filled with joy and gratitude.

What would you do with the $40,000?

I would focus on creating unforgettable visual memories for a family member, given the uncertainty surrounding their eyesight. I want them to experience the world’s beauty—seeing the vibrant colors of fall leaves, the magic of snow, the breathtaking paintings in the Louvre, and the lush green pastures of England. This journey would be about more than travel; it would capture those moments ensuring that even if their vision changes, they can revisit them in their memories.
