I am so much more comfortable in my my own skin as a woman in her 40s. Growing up and being a young adult, as it was then, was often a self-deprecating culture for women, never pretty enough, thin enough, too loud, too ambitious, not ambitious enough….the word was always “too”-something. I’m done with that now, or as much as I can be. I still hear those judgy voices in my head sometimes, but I’ve learned to question them as I’ve aged.
How do you stay fabulous?Deliberately take care of this body of mine. Hydrate it, moisturize it, rest it, make it active, love it.
What would you do with the $40,000?Honestly, first thing I would do is take my family on a European vacation. Then pay off a little debt (maybe) and buy myself something that makes me happy!
