I love my community. I love the skin I am in. I love my many circles of acceptance. I LOVE the do me swagger that comes with being 40plus.

Being well over 40 is a gift! It took getting to 40++ to truly embrace not allowing life to happen to me, but to make life happen for me. I know my worth more than I ever have before. I also understand how important it is to be the kind of woman that fixes other women's crowns without telling others it was ever crooked. Finally, as I age, I know it is okay to put me first. I have also learned to always speak up, even if my voice shakes.
How do you stay fabulous?I embrace the wisdom, beauty, confidence and humility that comes with age. I have also become less critical of others and have learned to mind my own business! If I am in your business it is only to love you, encourage you, and celebrate you and only with your permission. Sisterhood is everything to me these days. Especially as we continue to battle ageism, and the overt and subliminal messages that somehow our age/gender makes us less than. I am more free as I live life on my own terms.
What would you do with the $40,000?Community Service and Philanthropy is the rent we pay for life on this earth! Therefore, if I won 40k, 25% would go into my Aliyah and Milani (my daughters) donor advised fund inspiring philanthropy for the next generation. I would also do some sort of "Pay It Forward"campaign covering the cost of strangers shopping cart, dinner or even just a Starbucks. I would invest in myself via long-term savings and finally I would host a travel abroad retreat with some of my Soul Sisters!
