It is an effort to eat well, move with joy, work with intention, and play with passion. It is not always an easy choice. Being gentle with myself is the key. There are days I must eat a whole pint of fluffernutter ice cream - not the vegan kind, the full cream version and it is delicious and ok. I move on and I am fine. I take time to listen to my heart and body and when I need to sleep in, I do. I feel gratitude in the journey of loving myself and taking care of my responsibilities.
How do you stay fabulous?The natural, embodied permission to do it 'my way', even when that way is unconventional or doesn't necessarily make the most sense, but it just feels right. Along with this permission comes an unapologetic sense of purpose and style. And in terms of parenting, it is a terrific time to model values and focus on the essential, as opposed to the superfluous or superficial.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would gather my posse of friends and colleagues who have sustained me of late, during a more dark and difficult transition back to single life. We would celebrate with laughter, fine food, movement, and gratitude.
