After turning 40 something is your whole body changes. You accept the cellulite, the piles of laundry, todo list that never gets done. You realize how important and valuable you are and accepting less is a waste of time. You leave that toxic friend for a workout regime. You realize how closely your children are watching and realize you need to do more then tell them but show them how to be a good person.
How do you stay fabulous?My day starts with snuggles from my seven year old. After we barely get to school on time I take me time. I go to the gym and make sure I’m staying strong and fit to keep up with my seven year old. At work I focus on being trauma informed when dealing with victims of sexual assault or any traumatic event. I focus on recovery as we know the judicial system might now provide that. I also do internet crimes against children and even though it’s horrific arresting the predators is so satisfying.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would make some much needed improvements with my house. I appreciate the opportunity.
