Age doesn’t define me. I love dressing in bright colors and leopard print. Pediatric nurse by day, live music lover by night!

I think learning how to age gracefully is what I love about being over 40. Being 40+ doesn’t mean you’re suddenly one of the Golden Girls. There is so much life left to be lived!!! Having the knowledge of the life I’ve lived and experienced, coupled with a zest for life…the world is truly an oyster. Being able to mentor and model for the younger generation of women behind me is more important to me than it ever has been before.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous for me means spending time with other fabulous women. I’m lucky to be surrounded by an amazing group of family & friends. I love learning and growing while experiencing life alongside these fierce and fabulous females. I also believe serving others has a huge impact on fabulosity! Working hard as a pediatric nurse supervisor affords me the time to serve others. Not taking myself too seriously is another way to be fabulous. Being able to find humor and laugh life’s curveballs.
What would you do with the $40,000?I’d love to take my mom on a fabulous trip. She’s in her 70s and still oh-so-fabulous but is also aging. I’d love to do something to thank her for everything she’s done for me. Then I’d probably use the remainder for a huge lump sum on my student loan debt. Going to college more than once has afforded me so many opportunities, but also forced me to accumulate some serious debt. I’d love to pay off as much as I can and gain some more financial freedom!
