Recognizing the effort I put in to reach where I am and extending grace and appreciation to my younger self. Witnessing my daughter grow into the thriving young woman she is. Fostering and defending the relationships that are most important to me and spotting those that don’t have my best interests. I’m ready for what’s ahead-the successes and failures, and the lessons I will take away from them. With my newfound strength and confidence from my 40s so far, I can’t wait to see what’s next!
How do you stay fabulous?Taking care of oneself both inside and out. Recognizing when to trust and listen to myself: whether that be pressing the gas or pumping the brakes. Encircling myself with positive, powerful and inspiring women, whom I admire, respect and gain knowledge from on a daily basis. Protecting both me and my family’s time. It is a priceless gift. And finally understanding the need to be inquisitive and autonomous. And always have a firm handshake when meeting new people.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would teach my daughter how to invest wisely in her own future. I would love to travel, invest in my next project and give back to the community. Being able to use this gift responsibly would be an incredible gift, as I have been self sufficient since I was a teenager. Also using it for a little fun with my wedding planning. It’s fabulous to be a fiancée over 40!!
