What I love about being over 40 is the freedom to live life without worrying about others’ opinions. At this stage, I’ve embraced that it’s never too late to rewrite your story, and that’s incredibly powerful. I’ve learned to own my journey, and I see this chapter as the best one yet, where dreams are still pursued, goals are still achieved, and life is lived with purpose and passion. Age doesn’t define us, but the way we live does.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by nurturing my faith, family, and well-being. My belief in God keeps me grounded and purposeful. I work out 5 days a week with my husband of 2 years, which keeps me physically strong, while meditation brings peace to my mind. Spending time with my daughter and granddaughter reminds me of the legacy I’m building. Fabulosity is about living with love, balance, and intention, staying connected to those I cherish most.
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I would invest in giving back and making a real impact. A portion of the funds would support the nonprofit I work with in Jamaica, which helps children who have been mentally, physically, and sexually abused. This money would go toward providing the psychological treatment they need to heal. I would also give back to my own nonprofit, Second Chance at Life Empowered, to continue helping young people create new beginnings and find empowerment through second chances.
