Since turning 40, I’ve earned a degree, welcomed a grandchild, celebrated 35 years of marriage, and even produced an Off-Broadway show!

Turning 40 changed my life! I reconnected with my passion for dance, started exercising regularly, and made smarter nutritional decisions. This shift has carried me to 60, and today, I feel stronger and more confident than ever. Feeling good about yourself and cultivating confidence are two of the most essential mindsets we can have. Getting older is a blessing and a unique experience. If we embrace it with the right attitude, it becomes the best gift we can receive.
How do you stay fabulous?I surround myself with fabulous people. I never want to be the smartest or, in this case, the most fabulous person in the room. We have so much to learn from each other. I care for my 91-year-old mother, who has been fabulous forever, and I learn from her each day. My faith is crucial to my journey in this life, so I take time out each day to show gratitude. As a creator within the theater world, I am blessed to be surrounded by fabulousness and have the chance to make a difference through art.
What would you do with the $40,000?In 2018, I started a production company & our goal is to produce uplifting and inspirational original works. With my partner, we are currently (and tirelessly) working on getting an original musical up and running for a national tour & expanding a small inclusive arts program designed to support neurodiverse creatives. The arts are grossly underfunded so fundraising is crucial to success.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
