Being over 40 has brought a newfound sense of confidence, clarity & self-discovery. I have gained invaluable wisdom & knowledge from my life experiences, both challenges & triumphs. This has enabled me to make better choices and has taught me how to prioritize what truly matters—relationships, health, and personal fulfillment. I am learning how to embrace my true self & feel comfortable in my skin, loving all of my scars & imperfections without fear of judgement. At this age, I am free to be me!
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous is about embracing authenticity, confidence, and self-care. I have mental and physical challenges, but with the help of medication, therapy, close communication with my healthcare providers and a great support system, I am learning how to embrace my unique style and personality, which in return has made me feel empowered. I celebrate who I am by nurturing my mind, body, and spirit, which aids in ensuring that my fabulousness shines through every day, even on the stormier ones.
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I would prioritize my long-term goals while addressing my immediate needs first. Next, I would allocate funds for furthering my education, perhaps through courses or certifications that I could utilize in starting up a new business in a field that I enjoy. I love to travel, so I would use a portion to broaden my horizons & explore different cultures to gain new perspectives. Lastly, I would use money to educate young children about the effects that drug and alcohol use can cause.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
