Gratitude, being grateful for all the experiences I have had in my life. Some wonderful, some lessons learned, because they all formed me.

I think the thing I love most about being older is really knowing myself. When I was 40, I made a vision board of all the things that I still wanted to accomplish. I would stare at that board and I would envision those dreams coming to fruition. I wanted to own my home, to own my own garden center, to own my own coffee shop and bakery. They all came true in the last 21yrs. Your determination and mindset is everything! You are the curator of your life.
How do you stay fabulous?I surround myself with like minded people, people who make my heart sing. I feel as you age your circle of friends becomes smaller for a reason, quality is what matters. I’m a painter and I see art in everything even in the mundane. Life is art, from what you choose to dress yourself in to how you garnish your plate. Coming from a place of love in all aspects of your life keeps you young at heart. Open to the changing world, new concepts and Aspirations.
What would you do with the $40,000?This windfall would give me the opportunity to better many lives, something I’ve thought about a lot in my life. What would I do if I could. Perhaps supporting the arts in my community and giving to my local animal shelter for all the amazing work that they do. I would be able to support the homeless shelter in a tangible way. It could also give me some space and time to create. There is so much beauty in the world that I would love to capture. That’s what this would afford me to do.
