I am 66, mother of 3, grandmother of 7 and primary caregiver for my youngest grandson who was diagnosed with leukemia at 5 months.

I love being retired and therefore able to decide where to put each piece of the pie of my life. I have been able to spend 14 months four hours from home helping my youngest daughter care for her infant son, as well as her three year-old daughter which has allowed her to continue to work from home. Everyone tells me how lucky they are to have me but I feel like the lucky one.
How do you stay fabulous? It’s all about balance. I like having the freedom to eat a healthy diet because I have the time to grocery shop and cook healthy meals, go to the gym and take Pilates yoga and go for walks. Additionally use apps for my mental health and faith. it’s nice to be able to fit everything in your life between technology and getting enough sleep, I feel like finally I can get it all done. It’s a blessing.
What would you do with the $40,000?Sad to say, but pay off debt, especially student loans from my two daughters. Raising them both, pretty much as a single parent, I had to take on a lot of debt and I’m still paying it down. Covid gave us some time to take a break but it’s time to get back on those payments and get rid of that debt.
