What do you love about being over 40?

I don’t get my period anymore!!! Lol Self-discovery self-Acceptance. I prioritize my well being. I’m resilient. I have a better understanding of life, others and myself. I am ready to turn on my greatness and celebrate the wisdom I have gained through years of experience whether gained through good or bad experiences! Being 40 means I get to choose me and I love myself and have picked up hobbies that reflect reinventing myself. I love being able to help people with all my time afforded me!

How do you stay fabulous?

My typical day off starts with prayer and meditation and then to the gym. I eat lots of vegetables and drink plenty water. My job as as a nurse keeps me active and I practice gratitude everyday by reciting positive affirmations. I get at least 8 hours of sleep. I enjoy good music and friendships. I laugh often! I laugh until I can’t breathe sometimes Always see the silver lining and always remember how blessed I am to see another day!

What would you do with the $40,000?

I would love to help those less fortunate than I am. I always give to St. Jude’s children’s hospital There’s also a strong need for mental health facilities and these less fortunate sometimes have no insurance so maybe this can go to help someone with mental health issues or addiction.
