Being at this advanced age has afforded me with a new found freedom. I'm no longer worried about what others think about me or how I'm perceived to the world. I live simply just to live. I'm accountable for my own happiness and able to have boundaries without conviction. My children are grown and thriving which enables me to be a super grandma to my one and only grandson. If the thought enters my mind I'm instantly vacation ready! Being over 40 is much better than being in my 20's!
How do you stay fabulous?To be honest my choices in my younger days weren't always the best. My health concerns are serious. Yet I wont let it stop me from loving. From living. From being happy. I eat differently. I go out walking in my beautiful city. Some don't know that being social and just getting out of the house keeps you looking forward to something. So whether it's a short errand or a long shopping trip I am out of doors everyday! Letting the sun touch my skin, staying active.
What would you do with the $40,000?I'd use some of the money to put into a trust for my only grandson. Realistically I know grandma won't live forever. So I'd like him to have a trust when he graduates high school. I'd also, like to start a support group that helps people with CKD and type 2 diabetes which I currently have. The rest, well maybe I'll get something I've always wanted for myself. Maybe.
