There are a lot of perks to being over 40. I can speak my mind. I’m very determined and very experienced in life. I know that I’m capable & independent even though I’ve been married for 34 years to my soulmate, my best friend. I’ve learned to love myself & I’m not be so self-conscious. I believe that I get smarter by learning new things every day & I don’t take life for granted, like I would when I was younger. I’ve been very lucky to experience so much of my life, W/ great friends and family.
How do you stay fabulous?I do a lot of gardening & up & down the stairs lol. I had been taking care of my mother who was dying of cancer & later my mom-in-law who passed w/ dementia-they kept me on my toes, great women role models. I'm sober & clean via a 12 step program for 34yrs it helps keep me spiritually fit. Home projects to stay in shape & try to pamper myself a bit. I have fixed cars which I’m proud of being able to still get under there & get a little bit dirty but also afterwards get all prettied up & go out.
What would you do with the $40,000?My dream at 62 years old since I’ve done so many things in my life. I would like to write a book or a series & to finally live on the beach with a pool and sauna where friends & family come to visit. I would put down a deposit for a condo or a house on the beach, & then start writing 😀 I believe it will happen!!
