The freedom that I have. I am retired, but I'm a substitute for the Los Angeles Unified School District 6 months out of the school year. This allows me to travel. My sister and I take an international trip once a year. I'm free to visit my grand children in Sacramento and my son in Las Vegas. I also enjoy jazz festivals in NewportBeach and Monterrey. I am free to spend the weekend if I choose to. I like the freedom of spontaneity.
How do you stay fabulous?Working, exercise and not over-eating. I enjoy getting up and out each day, meeting new people: which I get to do as a substitute. I woulsI believe first impressions are lasting. So I always try to put my best face forward.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use it for some much needed repairs on my mother's house. She passed away in 2008 and the house was left to my siblings and myself. The house was built in 1904 and is in a historic section of town. I would love to see it painted - whatever else could be done.
