I feel that I am fabulous at 48 because I embrace my flaws, and I truly love myself more now than I ever did in my twenties.
We would like to thank you for supporting Dechanta Wooten in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I love the fact that I'm more accepting of my flaws & criticism from other people. In my 40's, I have tough skin, more self-awareness, guidance, patience, understanding & I'm an alligator mixed with a crocodile! No one will ever define who I am & how I'm supposed to feel about myself/self-worth. Also, I started acting in my mid 40's...late bloomer I guess, but who's keeping track of the time lol? I'm also looking into leaving my federal job and launching my own business in 2025.
How do you stay fabulous?I eat alot healthier now, I work out as time permits, I drink alot of water, & I try to treat myself to self-care routines (facials, massages, etc.). Also, I love animals...they make me happy, I love my flowerbed, love acting, love different cultures/foods, and I absolutely love to travel.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate to the ASPCA, give something to my parents/grandmother, definitely invest more into my shares, launch my home inspection business, and help 1-2 homeless veterans with getting on their feet. I'm retired military as of June 2015, so my heart will always beat for the veteran community and homeless in general.
