Connect What do you love about being over 40?

As an indie artist/author, it brings me great joy being a creator of original music and nonfiction writings. It’s about becoming all that I can be with a lot of hard work, ever blooming in the fertilizer of my past Cultivating wisdom gives me the continued strength necessary to overcome life’s struggles and setbacks, and in the inevitable process of aging, I promise myself never to give into it by becoming "old", but instead, to fan the flames of life which keep me shining as I get older.

How do you stay fabulous?

Prayer is my foundation of wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and love. Singing from my heart gives me joy as I help others to find their unique heart song. There are so many health benefits to singing! I am bouncing back from Covid and working hard to get back into shape to teach yoga. Movement is an essential ingredient to well-being. My wonderful husband’s love keeps me happy and encourages me as an artist and his soulmate, giving me the time, space, and support that I need to create.

What would you do with the $40,000?

As a recording artist, there are always equipment updates needed with advancing technologies. I’m in need of a new iMac, iPhone, and movie equipment to keep my music business going. Marketing my music and books could easily absorb this amount, but I’d want to reserve a portion to give back to my community by developing a social prescription project called, “Soul Sing”.
