I am 67 and have never felt more alive. I’m a retired Fed, working part time as a substitute teacher. The kids keep me young!
We would like to thank you for supporting Deborah Krauss in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I feel less like apologizing for who I am, what I need, and what I want
How do you stay fabulous?I walk. and I watch what I eat. My daughter is just 25, and she challenges me to not think “old”. Also, I am surrounded by vital, active people of a wide range of ages at the school, where I am a substitute. As for my appearance, I treat myself to good quality make up and skin care.
What would you do with the $40,000?I’d pay off my credit cards. I have tested positive for the BRCA 2 gene, as has my sister. My mother, 3 of her sisters, and my own sister have had breast cancer. I would contribute some of my winnings to the effort to find a cure. Breast cancer is very personal for me.
