It's taken a lifetime to become comfortable in my own skin. I know who I am and have embraced it. I now no longer worry too much about what others think of me. I've learned to not put up with BS, to set healthy boundaries and to explore with or without a posse of friends. I love learning about new people and new things. I am me and that's enough and pretty fabulous.
How do you stay fabulous?I try to eat healthy but allow the occasional caloric pleasure. I spend time with valued friends and family. Working in exercise is a challenge but I'm making an effort so that I live to a ripe healthy, active old age. I love ballroom dancing and am getting out there again several times a week. Helping others is also a passion of mine. I'm on the board of a new nonprofit helping them get started, as well as acting as a benefit auctioneer and ringman at fundraising events.
What would you do with the $40,000?I need to replace my 20 year old roof - boring but needed and if anything was left book a trip of a lifetime - maybe to Italy and donate to ARMS - an abuse recovery service.
