I love that I GET to age beautifully and confidently! I no longer subscribe to the “shoulds” and expectations of what being over 40 looks like; I get to honor what my body needs, what my heart desires and instead of listening to everyone else, I am the one whose opinion matters most!
How do you stay fabulous?I focus my energy on my holistic wellness. As a mental health therapist who specializes in working with women navigating motherhood, it is so important that I do the things to support my own health and wellbeing. I do hot yoga five days per week, I honor my humanness and practice self compassion when I mess up ( which is often!), and embrace my imperfections and premature gray hair as a badge of honor for this journey.
What would you do with the $40,000?TRAVEL!! I want to experience life to the fullest and for me that is about feeling inspiration and awe. The times I have felt to most present, grounded, and connected to myself and others has been in learning about and being immersed in new cultural experiences. I would love to travel to Vietnam, Portugal, Spain, Greece, and the list goes on! Adventure awaits! A tad cliche, but true too… some would certainly go towards continuing to pay for my sons’ college education too!
