I love the growth I've experienced that only happens with age. I'm unapologetic now, I have higher standards in a potential partner, and I know the difference between being a nice person and being a good person. I am powerful, and I can do anything!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by helping others. I currently live in a women's shelter that receives no federal funding. I help other residents with paperwork and online priorities, I help the shelter manager with day-to-day tasks, and I give money to the shelter whenever I can. It's usually not much, as my financial prospects are limited right now. But I do everything I can to help! I am also going back to school to receive my Bachelor's in Science and Communication.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I had $40,000, I would pay for school, give some to the shelter, and help others who need it. I believe the best thing we can do when we're struggling ourselves is to help others. Not necessarily for the good karma, but because it gives you a sense of fulfillment and purpose. I strive every day to be the best version of myself that I can be, and helping others is part of it. We all need help sometimes, and I provide that when I can.
