I’ve entered a new phase of maturity with its own opportunities. I have a lot of interests and ideas, and, fortunately I have the resources to act on some of them. I’ve learned that living true to myself is more important than what others think. I have gained perspective and experience, and I know myself better now. I have more time to do things I enjoy, like crafting, music, cooking and traveling. I also have a better sense of my own mortality and the value of time with family and friends.
How do you stay fabulous?I try to stay true to myself and my own personal style and tastes. I love blingy things and I adore beautiful hats. I stopped dieting years ago and have lost 155 lbs. I do not drink carbonated beverages and water has become my drink of choice. I choose the people I want in my life and trust my own intuition. I am a pastor’s wife. I put God first, family second and maintain a strong daily prayer life. God healed me of a horrible bout with stage 4 cancer and I have a new lease on life.
What would you do with the $40,000?First a portion of winnings would go directly to our church building fund. I want to make a Christian music recording project. I would like to buy myself a new baby grand piano and ultimately travel to Europe.
