As a former Realtor/Auctioneer and business owner at 53 I'm starting a new career and schooling as an esthetician.

Becoming older I have more self-acceptance of myself. It’s really made me to accept me with less worries about what others think. But one of the things that I love instead of raising my children, I now look at them chasing their dreams and hearing them telling me their stories while enjoying my grandchildren all this while getting the privilege of getting older right beside my husband, I wouldn’t trade that for the world.
How do you stay fabulous?I strive to listen to my body and for most part I’m holistic at heart. I believe in drinking my water every day, taking my vitamins, daily skin care with sunscreen everyday, taking time to read a good book and still being active by working. Even at 53 I started back to school, it’s never too late. We should keep on learning new things with keeping are mind active, age is only a number. I’m still striving to be the best me!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would establish a skincare clinic to focus on younger teenagers with acne and skin issues. I've personally have had basal cell carcinoma three times, so part of the focus would be to create an education class in the business to teach teenagers about skincare and how important it is to use sunscreen and help treat acne. With the proceeds being taken in from the classes and events would be a non-profit for less privileged teenagers to receive treatment and products for their acne and skin care.
