Turning 40 feels empowering. I’m grateful for my military service, which allows me to work per diem as an ICU nurse, giving me the flexibility to prioritize quality time with my kids and travel. Last year, I began my entrepreneurial journey hosting on Airbnb & Turo. At 40, I confidently pursue my passions and aim to inspire other women to work hard and chase their dreams. It’s never too late to go after what you want in life.
How do you stay fabulous?To stay fabulous, I prioritize self-care by engaging in activities that refresh me, like working out and getting massages. I stay active with exercises I enjoy, such as learning to dance Bachata and Salsa. I focus on a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables while still allowing for occasional treats. Building confidence is important, so I practice positive self-talk and surround myself with supportive people.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I had the chance, I would take my kids on a memorable vacation to create lasting memories together. Spending quality time with them while exploring new places and having fun is really important to me. I would also share my winnings with my family back home in the Philippines. Any extra money would go toward expanding my current business and exploring new opportunities for growth and success.
