Being over 40 -- what I love about being over 60 is feeling at home in my skin, less concerned about my appearance (but taking good care of it). My mind is on my mind and making the most of my time.
How do you stay fabulous?I am 100 % natural. I do not even dye my hair. (I was looking forward to my grandfather's silver hair, but unfortunately inherited a gene that does not go gray!) I swim three times a week. I walk as much as possible. I eat mainly vegetables, grains, and fruit. I avoid sugar.
What would you do with the $40,000?The 40 grand would replace income I lost recently, when one of my places of employment restructured and I did not make the cut. This fund will go to starting a hospitality business -- that's my dream! I have renovated motels with fabulous architecture on the Jersey Shore (one on the National Historic Register), so I look forward to investing this decorative talent in my own business. Better at 63 than never!
