Setting goals at 69 and successfully achieving them!

At 69, I have learned a lot! My last marriage of 18 yrs was to my late husband Richy, who battled cancer. It was very difficult to see him go through this, but I stayed strong and it made me realize how tough I am. I have also been a caretaker to my 96 year old mother, and she is very independent. She is an amazing woman! I also have two amazing, beautiful, and successful daughters! I am so proud of them and my grandchildren. Setting goals will always be my mission!
How do you stay fabulous?I try to eat healthy each day and workout at the gym. I am also a competition shooter for “Steel Challenge.” I compete twice a month and practice once a week at the outdoor range. My father was also a competition shooter, so I wanted to follow in his footsteps. I want to also show my grandchildren, “even at 69, your Nana can set goals and achieve them!” Also, I wanted to show them that if you put your mind to it, anything is possible, and boy that is a wonderful feeling!
What would you do with the $40,000?I know exactly what I would do! First, I would deposit money into my mom’s savings account to help with her monthly living expenses. Then I would help out both of my daughters with any needs they have. Then I would buy a CD at a good interest to generate more income monthly for myself.
