I am 56 years old and finally have the confidence, time and commitment to make time for myself for self care and to fulfil a child hood dream of making change and making a difference for those in need. My role in HR allows me the opportunity to become involved in many different volunteerism roles, Safety for Ontario, supporting advancement of youth ,supporting homeless , supporting food banks, supporting new immigrants an refugees. I embrace the wisdom and experience of 56yrs.
How do you stay fabulous?While i am passionate about my family and volunteerism I am also passionate about the pleasures of self care and growth. Professionally I continue to study, I am a on the Advisory board for Safety , I am a Regional Lead for Reaching Higher, I am a council member for DECI. Personally, I am a lover of both morning and evening yoga sprinkled with lavender. I also fill my cup with relaxing vacations.
What would you do with the $40,000?As a child I lost my mother to cancer, as an adult I lost my sister to cancer and I would like to make a contribution to the continuation of medical advancement of cancer treatment and science.
