What do you love about being over 40?

I have finally learned to love myself and not let the opinions of others get in the way of that. I know my worth and I am proud of every scar that has been left with a story and a lesson. I can walk with my head held high knowing I have lived a meaningful life. I’m a great person with a big heart and lots of love to give even to those that are not always deserving of it. I have learned in my 44 years that what I put out there representing myself is the only thing that truly matters in the end.

How do you stay fabulous?

I fix my hair and do my makeup everyday. I dress nice and always smell good. I keep a positive mindset by repeating affirmations daily. I pray, meditate, and do deep breathing exercises. I always find something to compliment others on. Being fabulous is not only physical but mental and verbal. You must spread fabulous vibes to be fabulous. It’s a state of mind. Make others feel fabulous and you have no option but to feel it yourself.

What would you do with the $40,000?

I would like to use some of it for good, unselfish reasons. Whether it’s helping other woman, feeding homeless, helping struggling families with Christmas, donating to the Salvation Army or Habitat for Humanity. I would be grateful for being able to pay off debt. Doing so would allow me more time to spend with my daughters instead of having to work long hours. Being blessed with a chance for a fresh start would mean the blessing must be shared. Paying it fabulously forward in a sense.
