Being over 40 means that I am more brave and confident to stand proud, in my truth, and help others with all the holistic tools I've learned to be healthier and happier. I no longer feel the crushing need to be everything to everyone else. I realize my self worth and important place in this world just being me.
How do you stay fabulous?I've had multiple chronic conditions my whole life but most recent neck surgery and blood clots in my lungs after COVID. Each day my routine includes tapping, stretching, yoga, eating as clean as possible, and pacing myself so I don't break in half due to pain, stress and anxiety. For 8 years I nursed my mother in law as her caregiver while advocating for my special needs son. I battled for them both and now I use that fire to keep myself going, striving for resilience and strength for life.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I had the money, I would finally start my business consulting with others to live a cleaner life. I am a chef, activist, writer, and I want to combine my knowledge of nutrition, plant based medicine and movement techniques to help others out of chronic pain and inflammation, so that others can be proactive daily and not get stuck in destructive cycles. I believe that our system holds people down and I want to show others how to connect to their body's capacity to heal and thrive.
