What I love about being over 40 is how empowered I am to be in my own skin. I don’t think I have ever felt more confident in who I am in my entire life. And I’ve always been a confident woman! But there’s something different about being a confident woman over 40. I know myself better than anybody else does. I trust myself, and I am more in tune with my soul and what feels right than I ever have before. I am flexible and fluid, and I love riding the waves of life.
How do you stay fabulous?I remind myself every day that I am a warrior, especially after surviving breast cancer! When I look in the mirror, my competition is staring right back at me. This allows me to remember who I am. To remember that it’s up to me every single day to put my health, fitness and mental health first and foremost because nobody else is going to do it for me. Mindful eating, daily workouts along with meditation and mental health fitness are key components to staying fabulous. Every day, I am grateful.
What would you do with the $40,000?After being in the fitness and nutrition industry for 10 years, I got into real estate. I’ve been in real estate for 10 years now. I started my own successful real estate group here in Dallas. With $40,000 I would be able to expand my business in ways that would allow me to grow exponentially. It would be a dream come true for me to not only see all of my hard work pay off, but to be able to continue to help my clients during some of the most important moments of their lives.
