Connect What do you love about being over 40?

Women over the age of 40 are not afraid of ANYTHING! We've been there and seen a lot of life! We have finally reached the point where we are confident in who we are and what we are striving to achieve. I love the rewarding friendships I have developed with other fabulous women. I love being a wife and mother. It is a very busy and sometimes stressful decade of life, but it's full of rewarding moments. You get to watch your kids do amazing things as they mature and grow. It's a blast!

How do you stay fabulous?

I place a lot of focus on health and presence. What this means is I work hard at work and life, but prioritize my family. As a web developer, I am constantly learning. This field is still evolving tremendously. I love my job and cannot imagine working in any other field. For my health, I prioritize getting enough water, sleep and exercise. I also focus on maintaining a healthy diet. I cook a lot of our meals from scratch, which is one of my favorite hobbies, avoiding fried and processed foods.

What would you do with the $40,000?

Our oldest is in college, with the second following soon after! Some of the money would go toward helping fund their college educations. I would donate some money to some of my favorite causes. I have a huge heart for the homeless. I would probably use the rest to take my family on a vacation! I would love to take my kids to Europe.
