I love that I had the courage to walk away from a 22yr carreer & join U.F.C.W Union as Shop Steward. Being able to stand up for my fellow Union Members, Lobby at the State Capital for a Bill that Protects Workers, and getting to meet Union Members & Leaders from various Locals has really helped me grow as a person. My life truely started to change for the better when I hit my 40s. I am 50 now and love my "Fun Job"
How do you stay fabulous?For 6 months I walked 12 miles a day in the hot Texas heat. When I moved up to the PNW in 2021 i fell ill due to Covid then suffered Long Covid where slowly I regained the ability to climb stairs, and start breathing easier. It has been a struggle for sure but being a light in someone's darkness, sharing a hug or kind word truely kept me centered. I have a goal to be able to walk the picketline with my crew for 8 hrs a day when the time comes and that drives me every day!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would pay my taxes. I would prepay my HOA fee. And I would invest the rest in my 401k.
