I love being over 40 because with age comes wisdom, & the ability to embrace life with a greater sense of calm. The small things that once seemed overwhelming no longer hold power over me. I’ve learned that if something or someone isn’t for me, I can walk away without regrets, fully confident in my choices. At this stage in life, I truly know myself, and that brings an incredible sense of pride and peace. I'm proud of where I am & the woman I've become.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by making fitness a priority in my life. I work out at least six days a week, incorporating a mix of activities that keep both my body and mind strong. I run, ride my Peloton bike, lift weights, & enjoy daily walks with my pug, Jack Nicholson, covering at least two miles every day. I'm truly blessed to have the ability to stay active, and I make the most of that privilege. In addition to physical fitness, I take care of my mental and emotional well-being through journaling.
What would you do with the $40,000?Women my age understand the challenge of putting ourselves through school to get the education we needed for that next job, promotion, or even just to be considered. I put myself through undergrad, and then I decided to pursue my MBA, added to my education debt. If I were to win the $40K, I would use a portion of it to pay down the student loan. I’m working on launching a new career in voice acting, a passion I’ve been eager to pursue. Part of the winnings would go toward setting up a studio.
