What makes me fabulous over 40, is my positive outlook on life. I continually strive to keep in shape and further my education.

What I love about being over 40 is my life experience this far. I feel that I have more confidence and self-love. I have come to embrace my shortcomings and love my flaws. I feel that I have put in my time and effort to live the life I want to live right now and in the future. I love that my children are older teenagers and demand less of my time and energy. I love that I have found a career that I excel in and enjoy doing. I worry less being over 40, and have more grace with others and myself.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by making my health and self-care a priority. I try to get to the gym 3-4 times in a week and walk my dog daily. I take the time to rest when my body tells me that I need to. I spend time with friends that uplift and empower me. I make my children a priority, always putting them first but then still carving out time each day for myself.
What would you do with the $40,000?Some ideas I would have for the $40,000 would be to take my children and I on a trip. The past 1.5 years have been tough on them with their father and I deciding to separate after 20 years of marriage. The other idea that I would have with the money is to give back to my community. I currently work with prenatal and postnatal moms that are single and low income. I would like to be able to offer them more community family activities and much needed respite.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
