This is the era where I can take everything I have learned & experienced in life and authentically own who I am. I have never been afraid of the “fight” and always identified with the underdog victories: First as a solo parent at 19yr that decided to finish college & pursue post graduate education to become a medical provider. Later, at 38yo, I went from unable to exercise (history 4 knee surgeries) to starting a new sport & becoming a Strongman athlete and winning the national title by 41yo.
How do you stay fabulous?Now, at 46, I am finally done “fighting” and proving myself & learning how to align my life and purpose- I felt external pressures in the medical profession and decided I needed to learn more to help others HEAL and become healthier (spiritually, mentally, physically). I was selected as one of 13 to pioneer a new era of medicine and accepted placement in the inaugural 2 yr Fellowship of Integrative Medicine and Ayurveda. I left my salaried job, took leap, and started my own private practice.
What would you do with the $40,000?I hope to use this platform to advocate how we can reset & optimize our health to our full potential! I am blessed to be learning 5000 yr old ancient medicine with applications in modern science & I want to share with as many people as I can how to unlock their full wellbeing & power with Integrative Ayurvedic Medicine. I am a 2nd yr Fellow and establishing the first clinic in the country. These funds would be used to reach patients & offer resources to the public!
