Staring at the big 4-0, I thought a lot about elevating all areas of my life. I started seeking out ways to become healthier and begin to feel good about myself and in my skin. After seeking out weight loss surgery and experiencing results, I felt encouraged to continue my self development and embrace of healthier habits, even while facing menopause. I gained much more than physical health and I now feel the sexiest I’ve ever felt, and it’s because I had the time to get to know myself.
How do you stay fabulous?Caring for myself, mind, body, and soul, is the most important part of how I keep myself fabulous. I strength train three times a week and I do lots of therapy shopping. I invest in cooking high-quality, wholesome foods, and I’m obsessed with all things skincare, because how can you be fabulous in your forties without a good skincare routine? Also traveling around the country fangirling over my favorite boy band with my best friend… it keeps me young! WATER-SUNSCREEN-MORE WATER!!!
What would you do with the $40,000?10 yrs ago I would of probably used the money to pay our living expenses, but now I would use the money to take a family trip. It’s been more several years since we went on a vacation with our three kids, and I would love the chance to connect with them how we used when we lived under the same roof. My husband of almost 15 years and I never had a real wedding, so I think we’d likely use some of the money to renew our vows and have a real ceremony with our adult children present.
