I love everything about being over forty and wouldn’t trade it for the world. The growth and maturity that come with this stage of life are amazing. I used to take things to heart, but now I approach situations differently. Life has a way of humbling you, and by 40, I think most women have gained enough experience to truly know who they are and what they want. These days, before making any decisions, I take time to reflect, then respond—because not everything deserves a reaction.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by first taking care of myself mentally, physically and spiritually. It's important to stay grounded and know who you are.
What would you do with the $40,000?Winning this contest will not only improve operation at my business but it will improve the lives of ALL the women (fabdolls) I serve. First, I will create a mental health day program to help underserved women receive reduced price services at the spa. I will also increase raise for our staff and improve our internal system to better serve our clients.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
